Acquired
in 1964 by the "University of the State of New York Maritime College",
the schooner was renamed COMMODORE in honor of Commodore George E. Roosevelt.
After some rrepairs and addition of some equippment the schooner COMMODORE
sailed for the Maritime College for a number of years.
